HBO is ramping up the marketing campaign for the upcoming seventh and final season of the vampire series True Blood. A trailer arrived online a little over a week ago, and now a batch of the first True Blood season 7 images has been unveiled. I stopped watching the show a few seasons ago so I’m not quite sure where everyone stands going into the finale, but from the looks of the trailer it appears that vampire zombies have now been added to the fantastical hodgepodge that is True Blood. Producers have promised a more focused final season for this last batch of 10 episodes, and moving the action exclusively back to Bon Temps is certainly a good start. It should be interesting to see how this unabashedly campy—and oftentimes crazy—series comes to a close.
